So this post has been a bit of a long time coming.  I meant to show you all the exciting things I bought from Sephora as soon as I got back from holiday, but it turns out taking the photos took a bit longer than I would have liked and I didn’t quite expect that getting over my jet lag would so long.

Anyway, a visit to Sephora has been on my wish list for yonks and I so wish they would have this store in the UK.  Whilst I did buy many things, I tried to stick to items that I really wanted and I knew I would get use out of rather than just buy things for the sake of it – I can be sensible you know!  I haven’t had a chance to test these out fully yet (mostly because I wanted to take my photos whilst everything still looked pristine), but in any case they will be creeping up in future posts so do keep an eye out.

I’ll start with the Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette which is something I have had on my wish list for ages.  I love the look of this palette and the colours look so wearable that I can’t wait to start using this.

After hearing so many rave reviews about the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfecter I knew I wasn’t going to let this one go. I went for the shade Opal which is a lovely golden champagne as I felt it suited my skin tone the best.

I know I didn’t really need another mascara, but with Tarte being quite hard to get hold of in the UK I felt like I had to get something from this brand.  I therefore settled for the Lights, Camera Flashes Statement Mascara and their Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush in Exposed, which is nude blusher that verges on a dusky pink colour.

Of course no Sephora haul would be complete without the Anastasia Brow Wiz which I picked up in the colour dark brown and after hearing great things about the Living Proof Perfect Hair Day 5 in 1 Styling Treatment, I quickly put this in my basket too.

The Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer had been on my radar and since Sephora stock this in a travel friendly size, I thought this would be a great way of testing it out.  So far I am loving it and can see myself buying the full size when this one finishes.

The Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment is something that has always intrigued me.  I’m not really a tinted lip balm kinda gal but you have to try something different from time to time and when I tried out the shade Coral in the store, I was pleasantly surprised at how pigmented it actually is.

I also made a beehive for Olivia Palermo’s nail polish range with Ciate London, with the two shades that I was drawn to being Hutch which is lovely cherry red and Napa Valley, a wearable ox blood shade.  The Marc Jacobs Enamoured Hi-Shine Nail Polish in Funny Girl on the other hand is a perfect nude and great for a no fuss look.

Lastly I was lucky to snap up a birthday gift too and to my delight I got the Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella which I have always been meaning to buy – how lucky is that!

So, have you used any of these items before and what’s on your Sephora wish list? x
