Are you like me and love that “I just got out of bed and this is how my hair looks” kinda look? Well, for me, bed hair means kinks, frizz and a poofy mess. Ok so maybe I’m exaggerating a bit, but that effortless yet still polished look is my number one hair goal and the Bumble and Bumble Brilliantine helps me achieve just that. I’ve repurchased this so many times and I’m quite surprised this little wonder isn’t really mentioned that much, I’ve certainly been through many tubes of the stuff over the years.
All you need is a pea sized amount of this styling creme on either damp or dry hair (I prefer to use it on dry hair), to add shine, separation and texture and it’s best applied from the mid-lengths downwards. It doesn’t weigh your hair down, smells absolutely gorgeous and does a pretty good job at controlling frizz. If I’m having a particularly bad hair day then I mix this with my L’oreal Mythic Oil which works just as well. It is a bit pricey at £20.50 for 50ml but it will always be one of those products that I want to make sure I have to hand.
The finish? I think Bumble and Bumble do a pretty good job of describing it themselves when they say that “it’s unique and hard to define. It gives hair polish and a sort of languid slept in, sexy look”.
