When something has been the talk of the town it’s only inevitable that I want to know what all the fuss is about. There are 8 quads in Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Palette range which retail at £38 and although all look amazing, it’s the The Dolce Vita that caught my attention.
Why? Because it has a beautiful mix of colours which work well with brown eyes (or any eye colour for that matter).
As described on Charlotte Tilbury’s website, these palettes allow you to create 3 specific eye looks which will take you from day, to dusk, to disco and consist of 4 different types of shades – a prime shade, a shade to enhance, one to smoke and lastly one to pop.
As swatched above (from left to right), The Dolce Vita’s prime shade is a pale shimmery champagne which shows up quite well on my medium skin tone, the enhance shade is a really lovely and unique warm copper, the smoke shade is a deep brown and lastly the pop shade which is really what makes this palette, is a golden pigment. You can’t really tell from the swatch but the pop shade is very glittery and it’s best applied by dabbing it on to the eyes with your ring finger.
This palette is versatile enough so you can be as subtle or as glammed up as you want plus the eyeshadows are so buttery soft, they blend really well and the colour pay off is great.
Oh, and lets not forget the packaging which is so dinky and cute it can easily slip into your makeup bag with ease or in my case my threatening to overflow makeup draw!
Seriously, what’s not to love…?
