Supercharging My Skincare With Face Masks…

When my skin is feeling dull and lacklustre, I’ll always turn to face masks.  Not only do they fit into the perfect pamper and self-care routine I so desperately crave and need, but it’s the best way to supercharge my skincare routine.  Often that boost is what I need to get my skin back on track and as ever, instant results are a must without comprising on all the nourishing and deep-cleansing goodness.  I often like to think of it as a detox for the skin – definitely the kind of detox I am on board with.

Of course I’m no stranger to face masks and I have a whole heap but to say that I’m loving Pure’s Skin Remedy masks is somewhat of an understatement.  To be honest, I already knew I was going to love these what with that vintage style tube packaging that’s so fitting with skincare.  These 3 wonders are taking pride of place on my bathroom vanity and for good reason – they are amazing.    3 Amazing Face Masks from Pure's New Skin Remedy Range | feat Pure Deep Cleansing Mask, Pure Nourishing Face Mask & Pure Brightening Face Mask _But First A Bit About Pure

My previous post on Affordable Skincare confirms my adoration for M&S Beauty and I have yet to be disappointed.  Each tube contains 75ml of product and retails at £12 – an excellent price point for what is a range that rivals many of my high-end faves.

Providing a quick but impressive 10-minute fix, there’s a mask for each of my skincare needs.  Read on to find out more.

    One For That Deep Clean

There’s no better way to purify the skin than with the Deep Cleansing Face Mask*.  British charcoal and Cornish Clay make for a perfect blemish-busting and pore-refining formula.  Like most charcoal and clay masks, this is excellent for drawing out impurities and what’s great is it doesn’t leave the skin too dry afterwards.  It also works hardest where your skin needs it most and for me that’s always around the nose and cheeks where my pores are that bit larger.  After using this, however, I needn’t worry as my skin gets the ultimate spring clean – the ideal once a week treat to purify the skin.  What’s more, there’s a bit of texture and grit to the formula so it doubles up as an exfoliator when you remove it.

The One That Makes You Glow

For healthy-looking, luminous skin, look no further than the Brightening Face Mask*.  Fortified with natural fruit acids, this radiance booster works to resurface the skin.  After 10 minutes I like to gently rub it off with water using soft circular motions, which gently buffs away dead skin cells at the same time.  I love a good radiance boost and this mask does exactly that.  It’s a great pick me up for those days when I’m looking a bit dull and as a fan of all things glow, it’s by far my favourite kind of mask I like to indulge in.3 Amazing Face Masks from Pure's New Skin Remedy Range | feat hand shot and swatch of Pure Brightening Face Mask

The One For That Moisture Boost

The Nourishing Face Mask* is a clever concoction of British oats and blackcurrant oils which gently calms and soothes the skin.  It looks and applies like a cream and is ideal for dehydrated skin.  This is the mask I turn to when I am in need of that instant moisture boost.  Once removed, my skin not only feels super soft, but I look well rested so on those days when I haven’t had enough sleep, this is my go-to.3 Amazing Face Masks from Pure's New Skin Remedy Range | feat hand shot and swatch of Pure Nourishing Face Mask3 Amazing Face Masks from Pure's New Skin Remedy Range | feat close up of Pure Deep Cleansing Mask, Pure Nourishing Face Mask & Pure Brightening Face Mask against round marble board & flowers

These face masks are gentle enough to use more frequently should you wish and each provide that quick-fix remedy for varying skincare concerns.  And with a more than reasonable price point of just £12, there’s very little to keep you away from trying these.  The question is which one would you go for…in fact, why not all of them?! x
